Bombers Battle to the Final at the Tustin 6/7 Showdown

Despite entering championship Sunday battered and short-handed, the West Yorba Linda 12U Bombers pushed their way into the title game at the Tustin 6/7 Showdown at the Tustin Pony Fields in Tustin, CA.

Competing with five players nursing injuries, the Bombers still fought through the bracket and earned a place in the final. It was a hard-fought championship matchup, but they ultimately came up short, 7–4.

Even so, the team walked away with second-place rings—a well-earned holiday reward that reflects their grit, resilience, and refusal to quit.

For the Bombers, reaching the final wasn’t just about the scoreboard. It was about showing character under pressure, supporting one another, and proving that WYLLL athletes rise to the moment—even when the odds are stacked against them.
