2026 Opening Day
Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026
Time: 9-10:30 AM
Location: Veterans Sports Park, Majors Field
All Players should be dressed in FULL UNIFORM and ready to line up near the Single A field no later than 8:45 AM. We will have a parade along the concourse to the Majors Field. Come with banners, flags, and your team spirit!
At the end of Opening Day, we will have our Ball Drop Fundraiser!
Opening Day Parade Map
Vendors will be set up by 8:30 AM and the parade will start by 9 AM. Spectators are free to watch the parade along the parade route, and then set up anywhere around the Majors field as Opening Ceremonies take place at Home Plate.
All teams should report to the Line Up Area on the running path beside the Single A field at Yorba Linda Middle School.
Juniors and Majors teams should line up closest to the gate, our AAA, AA, and Single A teams in the middle, with Minor A and Tee Ball teams forming up behind them. Look for the color-coded banners—matching the map—to help guide your team to the correct spot.
Opening Day Parking
We are expecting a very large turnout, so please be sure to review the parking maps provided by the City of Yorba Linda (PDF) for authorized parking areas:
- Veterans Park - 4756 Valley View Ave.
- Street Parking - Valley View Ave., unless posted No Parking
- 24 Hour Fitness Parking Lot - 4848 Valley View Ave., North Parking Stalls Only
- Hurless Barton Park - 4601 Casa Loma Ave.
- Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House - 4701 Casa Loma Ave.
- Yorba Linda Middle School - 4777 Casa Loma Ave.
- Yorba Linda City Hall - 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
Arriving early will help everything run smoothly and ensure the ceremony starts on time.
It is important to note to not park on any residential streets or private parking lots.
